The country will soon allow UAE travelers to book flights with Bitcoin and crypto assets across a select few airlines soon.
Book Flights with Bitcoin and Crypto Assets as UAE Travelers
The Emirates of the UAE have all gone through a rapid transformation with Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the lead. Following closely in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Emirates Will Accept Crypto Payments in 2026
As we can see from the post above, UAE travelers can book flights with Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and USDT, to name a few, via Emirates and other airlines. In detail, Emirates will accept over 30 cryptocurrencies via its payment partner, crypto.com, from 2026. Other airlines also willing to accept crypto payments soon include Air Arabia, Travala, Dentinia, and a few other alternative airlines.
However, each entity will only accept certain crypto assets with its respective crypto payment partner. To highlight, Air Arabia will only accept AE Coin via Mbank, while Travala will accept over 90 crypto assets, including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, and BNB via its partners Crypto.com and Binance Pay. Similarly, Destinia will accept BTC, ETH, and USDT through its crypto payment partner BitPay.
