The price of the pioneer altcoin, Ethereum (ETH), just entered price discovery three days ago. Since then, reputed crypto analysts have been sharing their opinions on what the next ETH ATH bull targets will be. In detail, Bitmine Immersion’s Tom Lee expects $5.5k ETH ATH in a few weeks, and $12,000 ETH ATH by the end of the year, a prediction slightly lower than he first anticipated.
Tom Lee Expects $5.5K ETH ATH in a Few Weeks
Ethereum (ETH) has had a slow start to this year’s bull cycle. To highlight, the price of the pioneer altcoin, Ethereum (ETH), did not pump alongside Bitcoin (BTC) last year. While some popular altcoins like FET, SUI, and ONDO set new ATH prices alongside BTC last year, the price of ETH and other legacy altcoins barely moved. The change only came when BTC entered a deep correction in Q1 of 2025.
Originally, this period was expected to allow the start of the ongoing bull cycle’s altseason peak phase. Instead, this time saw a brutal correction for BTC, allowing a much healthier and stable crypto market to come to play. During this time, the price of ETH finally bottomed at $1,700. Since then, the price of ETH has been steadily growing to reclaim higher prices, including $2,700 to $3,700, until finally, in Q3, it broke past the $4,000 price range.
Next ETH ATH Targets Revealed
From there, the price of ETH only began to pump harder in a much shorter time. In a matter of days, ETH price broke past the $4,100 resistance level and reclaimed prices as high as $4,800, until it broke past that and set a new ATH in the $4,900 price range. Next, analysts believe that the $5,000 price region will act as the next major resistance barrier, before new ATH prices can be met.
As we can see from the post above, Bitmine Immersion’s Chair, Tom Lee, states that the price of ETH will hit its next ATH target, which he believes to be $5,500. Moreover, he believes this target will be hit sometime soon, likely in the next couple of days. In addition, Tom Lee adds that the price of ETH will likely go on to hit a much higher ATH target between the $10,000 and $12,000 price range by the end of the year.
Just yesterday, Tom Lee expected the price of ETH to bottom. Perhaps he believes that the pioneer altcoin asset has already bottomed, which is why he is expecting the $5,500 ETH ATH price to arrive soon. However, his expectation for ETH to hit $15,000 to $16,000 ATH prices by the end seems to have mellowed down to a much tamer ATH target of $10,000 and $12,000 instead.
